Our Saint Nicholas Day Celebration..

I am so in love with everything about
this season!

The lovely Christmas music, the time around the fire place, cuddling up close in the mornings under a big blanket, hot chocolate and Peppermint Lattes!

Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.

Here are some pictures from our Saint Nicholas Day Celebration...

We read books about the real St Nicholas before going to bed

We all woke up excited about the fun that the day had to offer!

We started with Pioneer Woman's yummy cinnamon rolls!

And last but not least we went to see what gifts were awaiting in the "manger boxes" that we put out the night before...

The boxes held many treasures...

New Books for all!!!

A new movie for the younger two (The Hobbit and Samantha's Christmas.)

A much awaited book for my eldest (Inkheart) that she has begged to read for the last two years.

New Toothbrushes
Chapstick

And little cakes...

Such a wonderful Day remembering a man who dedicated his life to serving Father.
