The mornings begin with battles..

My hubby made a good point that I am not showing some of the everyday "battles" and "joys" going on within our new adventure so I decided he was right!

Here is one very memorable and worthy to mention "battle" that he and I face EVERY morning since moving into the new home...

Surprised?! Its not with our children but with our Keurig!

Yes we kept our single cup Keurig when deciding what goes and what stays in the RV.
I just couldn't bare to watch him go!

To be fair... we drink coffee in the mornings and then tea at night so its not all bad :)

Lately Keurig has refused to brew that perfect cup for me...

My hubby turns it on and waits and then Keurig and his stubborn self turns off.
I try and after waiting and waiting once again Keurig decides he is not going to provide!

Keurig and I have exchanged some words by this time...
I command him and remind him that he WILL give me that cup of coffee!!

After a few minutes and more turning off sessions we finally coax a cup at a time out of him!

(We have called his creator's and they are such sweet people to be sending us his replacement... his older brother to take his place very soon so until then let the battles continue.)

I'd stop drinking coffee, but I'm no quitter.

  1. That quote is hilarious. I'm pretty sure I'm addicted to Keurig:) I am so very sorry that you are going through this major trial (crying tears for you), I just don't know how you are surviving. I would just lay in bed and sob the day away without my coffee. See how strong of a person you are?!!
:) Can't wait to see you in a couple!

  2. It's good to know I'm not the only one that carries on conversations with my coffee machine. I'm assuming big brother is coming via priority mail?

    Cheers!

  3. Good thing I don't drink coffee! That's one battle I never have to deal with.

  4. I like that quote... I think I'll stick with that as to why I won't quite either.

  5. We received one of these lovely machines after we became full timers. One of the handiest things we do have in our kitchen!
