Inspiration All Around

Inspiration always comes to me whenever I find my soul
getting needy.

Coming in such a variety of ways...

Through music that makes me smile
and yet invokes conviction like this song...

In the form of a picture, taken at random
reminding me that the sun will shine through the trees
and shed light on the mysteries.

I often find inspiration in poetry,
words that another has scribbled down and allowed us to enjoy!
Here are LL Barkats words from her blog

Sorrows and Tangerine Petals

I tire of trying, of holding on
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good

I chaff at the myriad tasks before me
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good

I stir our sorrows, stare into the pot,
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good

I think that the world is too much with us,
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good

Sun barely touches the black-eyed Susans,
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good

Dew kisses the edges of tangerine tropicals,
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good.

From rose-painted teacup, creme fragrance rises,
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good.

Give thanks, give thanks,
for the touches barely, the kisses
moist, the tangerine petals, and eyes of brown,
for teacups painted and Earl-Grey filled,
for Spirit in all this glory found.

Inspiration comes in the words of a handwritten letter from my cousin and best friend as she offers encouragement on my frustrations over my use of excessive exclamation marks,
"Every time you use an exclamation mark, remind yourself that we are called to exclamation mark living."
Oh how she makes me smile!!!

And finally Inspiration arrived this morning in an email, a single scripture waiting for my eyes to read the words,
"Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up,"
Galatians 6:9

Inspiration lay all around!
