This past week someone (whom we had never met) blessed us with their cabin up in the NC mountains and it was exactly what we needed! There is something magical about being there, something that awakens in our souls amidst the fresh air and the sound of running water from nearby creeks, so peaceful!
My three unschoolers explored the creeks, rocks, woods and critters to their fullest!
Though our hearts were reluctant to head back to our cozy little home, we are together and enjoying the closeness that it too provides. We have no idea where we will end up when this journey is over but I have a feeling that it will include high altitudes :)
