We smile at one another because we are here… living in a RV.
We get caught up in “life” and then the propane goes out. We sit bundled together praying between the chills that time is found for the big red truck to come and fill the tank back up with that magical (but disgusting smelling) gas so that we can cook and stay warm.
Sometimes we bribe them with donuts :)
We laugh and will always remember this chapter in our story.
We people watch as we sit in plastic chairs, the smell of dryer sheets in the air. We wait for our multiple loads of laundry to stop spinning.
We sit on our bed (which is also the couch) and we do the ordinary every day things like reading library books, scribbling down grocery lists and playing on the laptop.
We have learned to laugh now at the hurdles.
We will never forget this journey.
