Here, a glimpse into heart of husband. A picture capturing the love of a man.
Masculine, hard worker. Providing for his family in a job he cant stand.
Why does he do this?
Time. It provides him time. At home with us.
My man is computer geek at heart. He would prefer a job that used more brain work yet puts up with blue collar.

My man is computer geek at heart. He would prefer a job that used more brain work yet puts up with blue collar.
For us.
He had the job of his dreams. Once
Manager of stores. Hiring. Firing. Creatively solving problems.
He loved it. He was rarely home.
This sacrifice is one of the reason that I love him.
So, his hands look like this.
His hands tell a story
The story of sacrifice.
Love the picture of your husband's hands. They tell his story, as hands always do. For me, hands are our tickets to anywhere...
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the photo I have of my own dad's hands. A mechanic, he works so hard and his hands show it. They tell a story, just like this photo does. What a good man to sacrifice for his family...
ReplyDeleteAw....so so sweet. Tell Caleb that his pinkie looks like he is ready for a dainty cup of tea from one of his daughters. :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful.
ReplyDeleteLyds, its the fault of an old basketball injury, he can't straighten it :)

ReplyDeleteWow, this is so poignant! It's an amazing picture, even more amazing with your description. It seems very appropriate for Valentines week.
ReplyDeleteI know many who are drawn to feet ... photographing them ... solitary and couplet-ed.
ReplyDeleteIt is the hand that I am always drawn to. The poems they make in the air. The stories about everything they touch and stir the world by.
You speak of the love of your man beautifully.
