Every Day

cooking

Everyday I look around; I try to remember the places that He has take us that brought us here, in this moment. So often I find myself with blinders on, as I try to explain away the miracles.

All gifts are from above, so why try to find another answer?

Everyday, I try to remind myself of my purpose, of my destiny for being created. Hand picked for this job and that. Everyday I try to see Him, His hand in my life.

I look for Him in the wind, in the joy, and in everyday things.

Sometimes it's hard.

Everyday that I am here: with this family, these children, my wonderful husband--is a blessing.
Oh to learn to count it as such... every day!

  1. Beautiful. Every day with Him. What a blessing! I will take a look around - I like your heading "Seduced by Simplicity". Wonderful.

I am not sure if this will link to my blog as it is through Disqus, so my blog is http://jancoxabetterway.wordpress.com or http://underthecoverofprayer.wordpress.com

    Many blessings,

  2. "Everyday, I try to remind myself of my purpose, of my destiny for being
created. Hand picked for this job and that. Everyday I try to see Him,
    His hand in my life."

I am reminded of 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain."

As always, what a beautiful reminder!
