Family Road Trip Highlights

We hopped in the car late Wednesday night and took off for our Road Trip. First stop: New Orleans.

We had plans to stop in Baton Rouge to see an old friend of mine from middle school. It had been TEN years since we had seen each other. We were lucky enough to time it right so that we got to meet her fiance!

After a few more hours we finally crossed over into TEXAS!!

We arrived at the hubby's business convention a bit early and hung out at the pool with our friends and fellow Bumper Man Families. Got to catch up with my good friend Nester.

Once our room(s) were ready we took the kiddos up. They were so surprised, as we were, that Bumper Man got us two rooms! We were all giddy about it :)

After a wonderful weekend of being wined and dined we took off for The Alamo.

Tired and ready to be out of the car, we were thrilled to arrive at our hotel.

We unpacked and took off immediately in search of cowboys and guns..
It was super hot but we were thrilled to be walking around this great historic site:

  2. We did have a blast.  All exhausted but made some great memories.  I leave early in the morning for West Virginia to make more!!

  4. Oh, I LOVE the pictures!  The one of Isaiah looking at the bullet hole is so precious.  :)  I'm glad it was such a wonderful trip and that you made memories for a lifetime.
