{This Moment} An Oatmeal Morning

This Moment

In the words of Soule Mama: {this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

  9. Most definitely :)  They cooked us breakfast this morning all on their own.  I can count this as school, right? :)

  16. Ha, ha! I can't tell you how many times I've walked into the kitchen to find a similar scene. My oldest is finally tall enough that he no longer needs the counter ~ which in some ways is a relief. It's a long way down to a tiled floor! Anyway, hope they were whipping up something good....

  18. Ah, children cooking for themselves, such a wonderful thing. Mine are smaller but I still love it when they get up and make breakfast themselves. They look so comfortable with the whole scene.

  22. Great for kids. Having oatmeal in the morning. And especially doing it by themselves. Letting them have the sense of responsibility there.
