Fall Equinox 2012

It's official, Fall has arrived with her yellow leaves and chilled morning whispers.  We are welcoming her with open arms like a long lost friend.   A new season with new adventures,  gives me additional chills just thinking about it.

There will be changes on the horizon.  We can already feel them in the air.  We are unsure what these changes will look like, but we know that they will be magical (as most all changes are in the end).  So, how did we spend time bringing in the new season?

With FIRE of course :)

And roasting lots of Marshmallows.

We also made lists of all the things that no longer suit us from the past season that we want to get rid of and then, we let the flames eat up each syllable.

We ended our little releasing ceremony talking about what new things we would like to have in our lives, what new adventures each of us crave.

This is how we do the changes of seasons.  How about you?  Have you thought about this new chapter?

I also think of this time of year almost like a "New Year" and a time for change. For me, personally, I'd like to shed the activities and tasks in my life that are inefficient. Too many things are "busy work"...and those things have got to go.

Love the pictures of your family by the fire.
